On Wednesday, January 4, at 6:30 p.m., the monthly meeting of the Massillon Genealogical Society presents Family Recipes. As we settle in for a long winter, many of us seek the warm comfort that comes from the favorite foods of our childhood. Traditional family recipes tie us to our past, our heritage, and our fondest memories. During this program, attendees are invited share their favorite food memories of childhood, some samples of these recipes if they wish, and copies of the recipes if they dare! This program is free and open to the public.
There is no registration for this free program held in the Massillon Public Library auditorium at 208 Lincoln Way E. The Second Street entrance is handicapped accessible. The Massillon Genealogical Society welcomes the public to all of its meetings and programs. For additional information, please call Jill Wingard at the Massillon Public Library 330-832-9831, Ext. 337 or log onto the library’s website: www.massillonlibrary.org/genealogy .
